Located on the edges of the Southern Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park hills. The Lodge is one of the four entry points (top of the hill) of the National Park known for its amazing mountain gorillas and park viewing. Set in the heart of the jungle of Gorilla land -Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge – home in a jungle is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful, hospitable and comfortable lodges to stay.The lodge was designed to blend in with surrounding environment in order to create a feel of being connected to nature.
Our Rooms
We have 8 hand crafted rooms with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable single or double bedrooms with wonderful views of the community and the park. Our lucky clients will watch gorillas while in these self contained rooms because some times Nkuringo gorilla group and other wildlife like baboons, monkeys and birds come to feed within and near the lodge compound.

What are the accommodations like?
Rooms have proper beds with mattresses and duvets, en suite (attached, in room) flush toilets, basins and showers with hot and cold running water. Other amenities include mosquito netting, lamps, purified water, insect repellent, flashlights, wardrobes, and ethnic furnishings.
How do I access Bwindi National Park?
Bwindi is found in southwestern Uganda about 530km from the capital, Kampala. The main entry point into the county is Entebbe International Airport which is about 46km from kampala. It can also be reached by road from to Kampala to Kabale through Kanugu to Buhoma those coming from Kigali, Rwanda or Congo. This is a tarmac highway route of about 414km and can take about 5-6hours.
Are airport pickups available for late night flight arrivals?
Yes, There are local flights that are responsible for that depending on the timetable from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi National Park. It is possible to fly by domestic carrier from Entebbe or Kampala (Kajjansi Airfield) to Kihihi or Kisoro near Bwindi. Chartered flights to Bwindi can also be booked.
How can I get Gorilla Permit while at the Lodge?
You cannot get it. Its better to plan that early before setting off to come because gorilla permit take a bit of time. Its better to be included during booking so that you can find it available.
Do you allow children at the Lodge?
Yes, we allow them according to the arrangement but they are not allowed to exceed the lodge premises in order to avoid any accident or harm.
