We are Located in Southern Sector of Bwindi Gorilla National Park

Located on the edges of the Southern Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park hills. The Lodge is one of the four entry points (top of the hill) of the National Park known for its amazing mountain gorillas and park viewing. Set in the heart of the jungle of Gorilla land -Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge – home in a jungle is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful, hospitable and comfortable lodges to stay.The lodge was designed to blend in with surrounding environment in order to create a feel of being connected to nature.

WHY VISIT US

We have 8 handcrafted rooms with en-suite bathrooms and comfortable single or double bedrooms with wonderful views of the community and the park. Our lucky clients will watch gorillas while in these self-contained rooms because sometimes Nkuringo gorilla groups and other wildlife like baboons, monkeys, and birds come to feed within and near the lodge compound.

Rooms have proper beds with mattresses and duvets, en suite (attached, in room) flush toilets, basins and showers with hot and cold running water. Other amenities include mosquito netting, lamps, purified water, insect repellent, flashlights, wardrobes, and ethnic furnishings.

Bwindi is found in southwestern Uganda about 530km from the capital, Kampala. The main entry point into the county is Entebbe International Airport which is about 46km from kampala. It can also be reached by road from to Kampala to Kabale through Kanugu to Buhoma those coming from Kigali, Rwanda or Congo. This is a tarmac highway route of about 414km and can take about 5-6hours.

Gorilla Permits are always in high demand and they require booking on time. Incase you are travelling with a tour company they secure it for you and incase you are we can help get the permit for you.
